Burning question? Here are the most asked questions that might help. If not, you can always email your question to hello@inyourelementhealing.co.uk
I specialise in women's wellness and so therefore 99% of my clients are female. I have a small handful of male clients that I treat for very specific reasons. If you identify as male, please note that my online services and a selection of in-person services my work for you, please email to see if I can help.
First of all, I see you and recognise your rights. You are more than welcome. If you have any specific questions please do drop me a message. The reason I promote women is because this is my specialty and tend to be the majority of clients I see. I do not exclude those who also need a safe place to feel seen and heard.
Holistic therapy treats the whole person. Mind, emotions, body, spirt, we are all a person not made up of lots of different parts. Everything is linked from the anxiety that interrupts your digestion to the pain that clouds your mind. By treating the whole person, we better see the root causes and help heal in a gentle and informed way.
I bring both professional training and over 20 years of lived experience in yoga, meditation, tarot and holistic practices. My certifications include trauma-informed care, professional counselling, somatic and energy-based healing, 200+ hours yoga teacher training and meditation teacher training, EFT and belief systems, Reiki (master level), mindfulness, acupressure, deep tissue and therapeutic massage, ecstatic dance, womb and pelvic therapies, and other specialist modalities such as sound and tantra. I also maintain professional standards with training in safeguarding, first aid, equality and diversity, and person-centred care. I’ve studied with herbalists, priestesses, shamans, yogis, and tantric teachers, weaving ancient practices with modern science, psychology and philosophy.
I’m a trauma-informed therapist, somatic guide, womb healer, tantric bodyworker, and energy worker with over two decades of experience in yoga, meditation, and the healing arts. But more than that, I’m a woman who’s lived it. Chronic illness, loss, rebirth, grief, and sacred rage. This path was never a trend for me - it was survival, and then it became my calling.
I create a safe and supportive space, holding space for you and acting as a mirror to help you see yourself more clearly, so you can process, heal, and grow with confidence. Together, this combination of lived experience and formal training ensures I can support you safely, compassionately, and effectively on your journey.
Yes and no. I have a few children who come to me as a way to help them explore their feelings. I have studied child psychology and child development; however, I am by no means an expert on children and do have contacts for specialists. If you have a specific question or think your child needs support, please get in touch and I will help you either personally or put you in touch with someone who can.
Yes! I have ADHD, OCD and CPTSTS so I get it. All accommodations will be made, and you can simply be yourself. No mask, no expectations, I have fidget toys, all types of music, sensory alternatives to make you feel comfortable. I don’t care if you show up in PJs (many do). Leaving the house can be hard enough, there is no pressure, I work with you and your needs. We can chat ahead of time if that helps you to know what to expect.
For my rented space in Hailes: due to the countryside location you will need access to a car. Parking is right outside the building and there are a few steps up to the door but a wheelchair ramp can be arranged. There is lighting outside, toilet facilities and signage to help you find your way. For any specific needs or questions do get in touch where we can help you further.
Absolutely, leaving the house is not always easy or possible and so I can come to you. This can be arranged via email, phone or in person. Home visits are charged at the standard rate plus £10 call out fee to cover petrol. Use the enquiry form or get in touch in a way that works for you.
In Your Element Wellness & Healing
These Terms & Conditions apply to all appointments, sessions, workshops, classes and other services provided by In Your Element Wellness & Healing.
By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Appointments can be booked through my website, by direct contact or through another agreed booking method.
When making a booking, please provide accurate and up-to-date contact information so that I can contact you regarding your appointment if necessary.
Appointment times are reserved specifically for you. Once an appointment has been confirmed, that time is no longer generally available to another client.
For new clients, I may require an initial appointment to take place at one of my external practice locations before offering sessions at my private home practice.
I reserve the right to determine which location is appropriate for an appointment based on the nature of the session, availability, practical considerations and suitability.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments, unless otherwise agreed.
Following your booking, you will receive a confirmation email.
Your appointment is not considered fully confirmed until the deposit has been received.
The remaining 50% balance is payable at the time of your appointment.
Payment can be made using the payment method available at the time of your appointment.
For workshops, courses, group sessions and other events, payment requirements may differ and will be stated at the time of booking.
Deposits are non-refundable.
The deposit secures your appointment and recognises that time has been specifically reserved for you. It may also cover costs incurred in arranging an external treatment or therapy room. Where an appointment is cancelled with more than 48 hours’ notice, I may, at my discretion, allow the deposit to be transferred to a rearranged appointment. A deposit is not automatically transferable indefinitely, and repeated changes to appointments may result in the original deposit being retained.
I understand that circumstances can change and that occasionally an appointment needs to be cancelled.
However, short-notice cancellations can leave me unable to offer the appointment to another client and may mean that I have already incurred room hire or other costs. For this reason, the following cancellation policy applies.
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without an additional cancellation charge.
Your original deposit remains non-refundable. Where appropriate, I may transfer the deposit to a rearranged appointment.
The 50% deposit will be retained as the cancellation fee.
If you choose to reschedule within this period, the same policy applies.
100% of the appointment fee is payable.
This also applies where an appointment is missed without notice.
Where only the deposit has been paid, the remaining balance will become payable.
I understand that genuine emergencies can occur and will always consider exceptional circumstances reasonably and on an individual basis.
Appointments can be rescheduled free of additional charge when more than 48 hours’ notice is provided.
Please do not assume that an appointment can simply be moved within the cancellation period without charge.
A request to move an appointment within 48 hours of the original appointment time is treated as a cancellation and the cancellation policy applies.
I will always do my best to accommodate a new appointment time, but availability cannot be guaranteed.
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you arrive late, I will do my best to provide as much of your session as possible within the remaining appointment time.
Where another client or booking follows yours, I may not be able to extend the session to compensate for late arrival.
The full appointment fee remains payable.
If you are significantly late and the session can no longer reasonably take place, I may treat this as a missed appointment and the cancellation policy will apply.
Occasionally, I may need to cancel or rearrange an appointment due to illness, emergency, venue availability or circumstances outside my reasonable control.
If I need to cancel your appointment, I will provide as much notice as reasonably possible and offer an alternative appointment where available.
If I am unable to provide the service and an alternative appointment is not suitable, any payment made specifically for that appointment will be refunded.
I may work from rented therapy or treatment rooms in locations including Tewkesbury and, where available, other local locations.
External room availability may vary.
The exact location and address of an appointment will be confirmed when your appointment is arranged.
If an external room becomes unavailable for reasons outside my control, I may offer an alternative location, an online appointment or an alternative appointment time.
I also offer selected appointments from my private home practice.
My home is a private residence rather than a conventional clinic, and home appointments are not available to all clients.
An initial appointment for new clients will normally take place at an external practice location.
Following this appointment, I may offer a home appointment where I consider the setting appropriate.
Home appointments are subject to suitability and my discretion.
I may decline to offer a home appointment or request that an appointment takes place at an external location without needing to provide personal details regarding that decision. My home address is private and will only be provided to clients once a home appointment has been agreed.
My dog may be present at my private home practice.
If you are uncomfortable around dogs, frightened of dogs, allergic to dogs or otherwise do not feel comfortable attending a dog-friendly environment, please let me know before booking a home appointment. Home appointments may not be suitable where the presence of my dog could cause distress or where I feel the environment would not be appropriate. I may therefore ask that your appointment takes place at an external practice location instead.
You are not expected to interact with or engage with my dog during a session.
Home visits may be available depending on my availability, the location, the nature of the appointment and practical considerations.
A home visit must be agreed in advance and is not automatically available simply because it is listed as a service option.
I reserve the right to decline a home visit where I do not consider the location or circumstances suitable.
Any applicable home-visit fee will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Online sessions are provided using an agreed online platform.
You are responsible for having a suitable internet connection, device and private environment in which to participate.
Please ensure that you are somewhere you feel comfortable speaking openly and where you are unlikely to be interrupted.
If technical problems prevent the session from taking place, I will use reasonable judgement to determine whether the session can continue, be shortened or be rearranged. The normal cancellation policy still applies to online appointments.
Workshops, yoga classes, meditation sessions and other group events may have their own booking and cancellation arrangements.
Any specific terms relating to an individual event will be provided at the time of booking and will take precedence where they differ from these general Terms & Conditions. Places at group events are limited and are reserved once payment has been received where full payment is required.
My work is focused on wellbeing, personal development and holistic support.
Depending on the service booked, this may include elements such as:
The exact content of a session will vary according to the service booked and your individual needs.
Sessions are collaborative and tailored to the individual rather than following a fixed formula.
My services are intended to complement wellbeing and personal development and are not a replacement for medical, psychiatric or emergency care.
I do not diagnose medical or mental health conditions, prescribe medication or provide emergency treatment.
If I believe that your needs fall outside my scope of practice, I may recommend that you seek support from an appropriately qualified healthcare or mental health professional. If you are experiencing an immediate medical or mental health emergency, please contact the appropriate emergency or crisis service rather than relying on an appointment with me.
You remain responsible for your own decisions, choices and wellbeing throughout and following a session.
You are encouraged to communicate openly if something does not feel comfortable or appropriate during a session.
You may pause, modify or stop an exercise or technique at any time.
I will not pressure you to participate in any activity that you do not wish to undertake.
Some services may involve appropriate physical contact, including massage, grounding touch or other body-based techniques.
The nature and extent of physical contact will be explained before it takes place and should be agreed between us.
You can withdraw consent to physical contact at any point during a session.
If you have a medical condition, injury, recent surgery, pregnancy, medication or other circumstance that may affect the suitability of massage or physical work, please inform me before your appointment.
Where appropriate, I may recommend that you obtain medical advice before receiving bodywork.
I respect the privacy of the people I work with.
Information shared during sessions will be treated as confidential, subject to the normal legal and professional limitations of confidentiality.
Confidentiality may need to be breached where I have serious concerns about immediate safety, where disclosure is required by law, or where another legal or safeguarding obligation applies.
I am committed to providing a respectful, professional and safe environment.
I expect clients to behave respectfully towards me, other clients and any venue or treatment space.
Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, intimidating or sexually inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
I reserve the right to end a session or refuse future bookings where behaviour is inappropriate or where I believe continuing the professional relationship would not be suitable.
Any outstanding payment for a session that has already taken place remains payable.
You are responsible for providing accurate information relevant to your appointment.
Please tell me about anything that may affect the suitability of a session, including relevant health concerns, injuries, medication, pregnancy, allergies, emotional or psychological circumstances, or other factors that you believe I should be aware of.
You should also inform me if your circumstances change in a way that may affect your ability to safely participate in a session.
You remain responsible for your own personal belongings during appointments.
I cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings unless caused by my negligence.
Information provided when booking or during sessions will be handled in accordance with my privacy policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
Personal information will only be collected and used for legitimate business, booking, communication, record-keeping and service-related purposes.
Please refer to my Privacy Policy for further information about how personal data is collected, stored and used.
I may contact you using the contact details provided when booking in relation to appointments, payments, changes, cancellations or other matters directly relating to your sessions.
Please ensure that your email address and telephone number are kept up to date.
I will aim to respond to messages within reasonable working hours.
Messages outside appointment times should not be considered a substitute for a booked session or emergency support.
I reserve the right to change my services, prices, availability, locations and booking arrangements from time to time.
Any price agreed and confirmed at the time of booking will remain applicable to that appointment unless otherwise agreed.
By booking an appointment or purchasing a service, you confirm that you have had the opportunity to read these Terms & Conditions and agree to comply with them.
If you have any questions about these Terms & Conditions or are unsure whether a particular service or location is appropriate for you, please contact me before booking.
